Welcome to Bergum Health and Wellness, the office of Mary F. Bergum, MD. We strive to provide excellent healthcare to all of our patients. Below are a few of our office policies.
OFFICE LOCATION AND HOURS
We are located at:
3154 E. 29th Avenue on Spokane's South Hill.
Our office sits on the SW corner of the 29th and Ray intersection.
*We are now located upstairs! Please park on the south side of the building.
Hours of operation are:
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday
8:45 am to 12:00 noon
1:30 pm to 5:00 pm
We are closed for lunch from 12:00 noon to 1:30 pm.
Dr. Bergum does not see patients on Wednesday. The office is staffed from 8:45 am to 5:00 pm.
Please bring your current insurance card, photo ID and Copay (if applicable--we accept cash, VISA and MasterCard) to your appointment.
We are no longer able to take new Medicaid or new Medicare plan patients. Current Medicare patients should not drop your Medicare supplement insurance.
**Patients without insurance are required to pay for their visit before they are seen by the physician.
APPOINTMENTS AND PHONE CALLS
Priority is given to our scheduled patients, but we do accept some walk-in patients with the understanding that there may be a waiting period. When you call to schedule an appointment with us the receptionist will inquire about the reason for the visit.
If you have a MEDICAL EMERGENCY (chest pain, open wound, severe illness) please tell the receptionist and they will get a nurse to talk to you. If you feel that you require a visit for the same day, please let the receptionist know.
MEDICATION REFILLS
Please call your pharmacy at least 48 hours before you need a refill. Refills are normally called into your pharmacy at the end of the day. Refills will not be called into your pharmacy after hours or on weekends.
