We encourage that you schedule appointments for preventative health visits, physicals, pap exams, chronic medical conditions, prescription renewals.
Reminder calls will be completed as a courtesy two (2) working days by text message and one (1) working day by phone between 7 am-7pm.
Cancellation of an Appointment
In order to be respectful of the medical needs of the Home Towne community please be courteous and call the clinic promptly if you are unable to attend an appointment. This time will be reallocated to someone who is in urgent need of treatment. This is how we can best serve the needs of our patients.
If it is necessary to cancel your scheduled appointment we require that you call one (1) working day in advance. Appointments are in high demand, and your early cancellation will give another person the possibility to have access to timely medical care.
Rescheduling on the same day is a Late Cancellation
If you reschedule your appointment to another day and is less then 24 hours in advanced, this is considered a late cancellation.
Late cancellations will be considered as a no show. (Less than 24 hours in advance)
How to Cancel Your Appointment
To cancel appointments please call 206-453-4215. If you do not reach the receptionist you may leave a detailed message on the voice mail. You may cancel via email in the Updox Patient portal.
You can cancel via the automated reminder system by pressing option 3 when you receive the call 24 hours prior to the appointment.
A no show is someone who misses an appointment without canceling it by one (1) working day in advance. No-shows inconvenience those individuals who need access to medical care in a timely manner.
Two or more no shows for a scheduled appointment will be recorded in the patients chart as a no show.
An administrative fee of $125.00 will be billed to the patient?s account and attached to your monthly statement after the third no-show.
4th no show and any after are subject to a fee of $175.00
Six no shows will result in the temporary suspension of services.
Each occurrence will erase after a 12 month period.
